Within the territorial scope of Malaga, under the name of «MALAGA ASSOCIATION FOR EUROPEAN EDUCATION AND TRAINING (AMEFE)» , it was established on September 4, 2013, as an associative and non-profit organization, with the aim of informing, training and educating all users and institutions in the subjects of European programs, providing possibilities, advantages and services of essential, daily and widespread use . In particular, to promote participation in European programs and the use of ICT by providing information, training and processing.
The purposes of the association are as follows:
- Organize and carry out cultural activities aimed at greater cultural development, conservation, and dissemination.
- Information, training, and development of European programs in Andalusia, especially those related to language learning and new technologies, applied to any educational level.
- Training, through courses and conferences for partners, volunteers, and the general public.
- Promote and strengthen the bonds of friendship between European and Andalusian society by bringing the community closer to new cultures through talks, debates, roundtables, exhibitions, and projects.
- To promote and disseminate European culture within Andalusian society, and primarily within the educational community, to foster sociocultural exchange resulting in mutual understanding and improved coexistence between the two.
- To promote, within the framework of the educational community, research and knowledge from a historical, anthropological, social, cultural, humanistic, ideological, and political perspective of Europe.
- Stimulate cultural, educational, and scientific encounters to promote experiences and research that foster understanding and knowledge in Europe.
- Development of studies that contribute to a better understanding of new technologies in the field of education in Europe.
- Contribute to the conservation, intervention, improvement, and dissemination of Andalusia’s historical, artistic, and ethnological legacy in Europe.
- Develop promotional activities, development, research, publication of works, and project generation related to new technologies, heritage, and the culture of Andalusia.
- Promote Andalusian citizen participation in European projects of all kinds, as well as channel sociocultural concerns.
- To be an institution serving Andalusian society inspired by the principles of equality, freedom, justice, and pluralism.
- To spread the culture of cultural pluralism, coexistence, and tolerance in Europe.
- To be a tool for integration and coexistence among the different cultures on our continent, promoting the development of an integration process for European citizens who have not yet integrated into our society.
- Defend the legitimate rights of European citizens who consider themselves minorities in various social and cultural spheres (people with disabilities, dependents, people with special needs, people in situations of exclusion).
- Promote teaching and the dissemination of knowledge as a vital tool for achieving tolerance and harmonious coexistence.
- Promote and actively collaborate in all tasks aimed at education and training for the understanding of the natural environment as well as any type of activity that promotes the creation of a sustainable development system for the planet in which environmental health, the conservation or protection of Nature, the Environment and Climate Change benefit.
- Develop solidarity and social action activities aimed at the most disadvantaged and needy groups through European cooperation and development projects.
- Develop environmental projects and activities for the ecological protection of the environment, through awareness-raising, information, and education campaigns.
- Promoting relations between European people and other like-minded cultural entities.
- Promote and support the creation of entities or study groups whose primary purpose is social, cultural, and economic development and promotion, the development of Andalusia, and the creation of initiatives, economic activities, and jobs.
- Connecting Andalusian and European citizens to learn European languages and cultures and foster relations between the two peoples.
